Utah Department of Corrections Management TrainingThe Training Academy's Management Training Unit develops training programs for all levels of management at the Utah Department of Corrections. This includes: * First Line Supervisor Course: Designed to help new supervisors develop skills related to supervision and to understand laws and policies that govern them * Mid Management Courses: Continues the process of improving skills and developing capacity for the management of operations, budgets and personnel * Executive Management Training: Gives Executive staff members an opportunity to learn techniques and practices that will enhance their management styles and practices * Ongoing Training for All Levels of Management: Strives to keep managers and supervisors current on the latest and most effective strategies to encourage performance, increase efficiency and operate at the highest level possible.
