Offender Management is also a core part of the
system. This section is closely integrated with the first but focuses on
security and supervision functions that manage the offender in security
and supervisory settings as a member of a population. Such items as Prison
cell assignments, movement and control, counting procedures, security incidents,
escapes, and disciplinaries fall into this section. Data here is captured
as the operation manages the offender population according to its procedures
in given areas. Then the data collected becomes accessible in each offenders
case throughout the rest of the system on selected screens.
