The Finance Bureau has responsibility for the preparation and presentation of the Department's annual appropriation request. The payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable are also a part of the office. Court-ordered restitution and fines, as well as inmate accounting functions, are also major functions of the Bureau.
Goals
- To provide centralized financial services to all areas of the Department of Corrections
- To prepare, present and monitor expenditures of the Department through comprehensive budgeting measures
- To administer court-ordered restitution and fines in an accurate manner
