The purpose of the Public Information Office is to provide timely and accurate information about the Utah Department of Corrections to the news media, UDC staff, the general public, legislators and other interested parties.

The Utah Department of Corrections is committed to transparency in its operations. General inquiries about the Department, its policies and activities, or individual offenders under the Department's jurisdiction should be directed to the Public Information Officer.
