Visiting Information

UINTA 3 VISITORS

ATTENTION:

U3 visitors June 1st visiting times will change to 5:15 to 6:45 and 6:45 to 8:15. 

All visiting for Uinta 3 will be pre-scheduled. The inmate must be eligible to receive visits. (R&O inmates are not eligible)

Uinta 3 will visit in two sessions, (5:30 – 7:00 PM and 7:00 – 8:30 PM) on Friday evenings. Call 576-7300

(This number is not a number for general questions or transfers it is for Reservations ONLY) to request a visiting time, or you may sign up in person following a visit. You can only sign up for one visiting session at a time and no more than 30 days in advance.

Oquirrh 4 visiting changes:

Section 1- will visit according to the inmate's privilege level, which will determine if the inmate will visit barriers or contact (talk to your inmate to get privilege level information).  Their times are listed on the Oquirrh/Wasatch visiting calendar under Oq4 (s) 1.

Section 2- will visit barriers only!!!!   All cells visit at the same time and are under Oq4 (s) 2 on the Oquirrh/Wasatch visiting calendar. 

Section 3- will visit barriers only!!!!    Their times are listed under Oq4 (s) 3 they will visit at the same time as Oq 3, Oq 5 on the Oquirrh/Wasatch visiting calendar.

    * Note: The Visiting Request form states that the address box on the back of the form must be filled out. The form that this refers to is the "Visiting Documentation Form", page 2 of the .pdf file.

    Visiting Request Forms shall include the:
    1. Inmate's full name, prison/offender number, date of request, housing assignment, and inmate's signature;
    2. Visitor's first, middle, last name, maiden name (if applicable), sex, marital status, social security number, address, driver's license number, the state it was issued by and date of birth;
    3. Visitor's relationship to the inmate.  Inmate's name and number.

    The inmate or visitor may submit a completed visiting application to VCC or CUCF Visiting. The visitor may submit visiting applications for themselves, and minors.

    Visitors who receive the visiting packet should complete the portion of the visiting application marked "Visitor's Section".

    Visitors wishing to be notified of the approval or denial shall attach a self-addressed stamped envelope to their visiting application.

    The visitor shall mail the application, all documentation, the signed consent form and any other supplemental information to the VCC or CUCF Visiting.

    Visiting Documentation Form:
    1. The Visitor will attach the appropriate personal documentation, as described on the back of the application form, or as specified by visiting staff. All documentation should have the inmate's name and number printed clearly on it.

    All minor visitors, except spouses, shall be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

    If the minor's parent or legal guardian is unable to escort the minor to visiting, the individual shall:
    1. be a member of the minor's immediate family; or
    2. provide a notarized letter from the parent or legal guardian, giving the individual permission to escort the minor.

    The minor and the approved adult shall remain together for the duration of the visit.

    Minors will be automatically removed from the inmate's visiting list, without notification, on their 18th birthday. It is their, or the inmate's responsibility to submit an adult visiting application for the minor, prior to the minor's 18th birthday.

    Prior to the initial visit, the approved visitor shall sign the Visitor Consent Form, which states that he/she has read, understands, and shall comply with the visiting rules and regulations.

    All inmates/visitors shall update their visiting application annually. It is the responsibility of the inmate or visitor to submit a renewal form to VCC or CUCF visiting staff, 12 months from the date the application was approved. Visitors or inmates shall notify the visiting staff in writing of any change of address of approved visitors within ten days of new address. Failure to provide this information within the ten-day time limit may result in suspension of visiting privileges.
