To anyone inside the business of Corrections, it is no surprise that the men and women who work with a criminal population have a very difficult and demanding job to do. Their world is largely not understood by most people - inside or outside government. It is a highly complex, often unpleasant and yet a very rewarding occupation. Corrections professionals work hard and are highly trained to do this difficult job well. Thus, investing in our employees is our highest priority.
