UCI Work Program

For more information on UCI, click here.

UCI's mission is to train inmates in real-time work environments to produce useful products and services for our customers while also gaining the tools necessary to return to a productive life in society. Working reduces idleness and hopelessness in the prison environment while decreasing management issues - thereby increasing the level of security for prison staff.

UCI operates work programs similar to traditional correctional industries found nationally. It is in a federally controlled relationship with Private Industries Enhancement (PIE), which are owned by qualified private companies.

UCI is confident that it is among the best prison industry programs in the nation and complies with state regulations by being completely self-supported. We accomplish this by providing products and services that either match or exceed industry standards while keeping prices lower than industry standards.

Go ahead, give UCI a try. Clients are often amazed that our products are produced by inmate labor due to the high quality of our work, which can not be differentiated from that which is found in the commercial and retail business sectors.
