Deputy Director of Operations
London Stromberg oversees operational aspects of the Department of Corrections, including the Division of Institutional Operations (prisons), Adult Probation & Parole, Programming, and Clinical Services. He was appointed deputy director in 2013 when Executive Director Cook was selected by Gov. Gary Herbert to head the Department of Corrections.
Stromberg began his career with Corrections as an intern in 1993 and has continued serving with the agency since then. Prior to being named deputy director, London served as Chief over the Law Enforcement Bureau, the investigative function of Corrections. Stromberg also has worked as a correctional officer, probation agent, parole officer, investigator, and supervisory investigator. Stromberg earned his Bachelor's degree in sociology with a Certificate in Criminology and Corrections from the University of Utah.
