It was hard to tell who had the biggest smiles Saturday: the cadets and officers helping at the 2015 Utah Walk Now for Autism Speaks event or the kids picking out stuffed animals donated by UDC staff!
The annual event brings together the autism community to increase awareness, raise money to fund research into the causes, treatment and prevention of autism — and have fun doing it!
Our Training Academy led a department-wide effort to collect stuffed animals to hand out at the event. Cadets and officers volunteered to help with the 5K walk and run our bean-bag toss game and toy table. Thank you all!
