Utah Department of Corrections

In 2014, the Utah Legislature voted to move forward with relocation of the Utah State Prison in Draper, the State's largest correctional facility. It approved the site recommended by the Prison Relocation Commission in August 2015. This page will provide updates on construction of the new facility and links to reports and news articles about the prison relocation process.
