Sex Offender SearchSONAR (Sex Offender Notification and Registration)

The registry is updated daily and contains all information that the Utah Department of Corrections is required to release concerning registered sex offenders in the State of Utah. This information includes photos, descriptions, addresses, vehicles, employment information, volunteer information, educational institution affiliation information, offenses, and targets. It is searchable by name and zip code. Mapping is now included.

The Most Wanted includes the offenders that are most wanted by the Utah Department of Corrections.  Notices of escape and absconding from justice can also be found here.  Wanted notices may be printed and distributed.  If you have any information about any of these individuals please contact the Department of Corrections at the number listed.

Friday Building and Office Closures

The Utah Department of Corrections will implement Gov. Jon M. Huntsman Jr.'s "Working 4 Utah" initiative in many of its buildings and offices. Please click here for a complete list of offices that will shift to a compressed work week beginning Aug. 4, 2008. These offices will be open Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m to 6 p.m. and closed on Fridays.

Please note that this initiative will not impact operations at the two state prisons. Visiting hours at the Utah State Prison, Draper and Central Utah Correctional Facility in Gunnison will remain the same.
