Director of Finance/Administrative Operations
Jeff Mottishaw joined the Utah Department of Corrections in 2024 as the Director of Finance/Administrative Operations.
His career with the state began in 2005, working as an analyst and assistant manager at State Mail and Distribution Services. Among his many roles with the state, highlights include the Director of Fleet Operations and GOPB’s Senior Consultant to Director of Operational Excellence. Mottishaw was the Managing Director of the Results Management team at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget (GOPB) before coming to the UDC.
Mottishaw has a bachelor’s degree in business management is from the University of Utah and an MBA from Weber State University.
Outside of work, has interests include most outdoor activities, especially snow skiing and cycling, plus dabbling in his woodshop.
